Your tasks
- Plan and create concepts for automation solutions for our systems
- Design and implement bus structures and network topologies
- Program Siemens Simatic S5 and S7 controllers (Step5 / Step7)
- Develop visualization solutions using ProTool, WinCC, WinCC Flexible, and Wonderware InTouch
- Create and maintain database connections for operational data acquisition
- Take responsibility for control cabinet planning
- Coordinate cabinet assembly with our partner companies
- Conduct loop tests and system commissioning
- Handle service and maintenance of our systems
- Ensure high system availability through your technical expertise
- Ensure continuous system support through flexible availability
- Support our service team in proactive customer care
- Develop predictive maintenance concepts for maximum system availability
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team
Your profile
- Educational background and required technical know-how
- Technical degree (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or equivalent) in automation technology,
electrical engineering, or a related field - Specialist expertise in programming Siemens Simatic S5 and S7 controllers
- Extensive experience with various visualization systems (ProTool, WinCC, WinCC Flexible, Wonderware InTouch)
- Knowledge on functional safety according to IEC 61508 Standard
- In-depth knowledge of implementing industrial bus structures
- Experience in control cabinet planning and project engineering
- Understanding of the relationships between control technology, databases, and process visualization
